View Full Version : How would that be? A sweep-the-floor-type-4?

Starting a thread by myself, doing a very similar engine like the 1914cc in the VW Trends, that was totally low-budget build, but I'll do that with a 2l Type 2 engine, square ports and original bone-stock, after 79- engine! Guys, is that a thing?

Project STFT4... :silly:

I'll be watching closely !

I want to get into a type 4 but of course the limiting factor is BUDGET !!

I think its a great idea. It'll give guys an idea of a good overall engine on a budget. I'll be watching.

do it, do it, do it...
Though I'd really rather see the "ultimate" T4 built. That would give me something more to lust after.:D

I think the budget type 4 upright build would be an excellent article for those that want to go at it cheaply at first. :)

Do it!

Poll is open again.
Please vote if you want to see a cheap T4 build up or if you do not.
