I have a pair of weber icts and am wondering what size engine these little puppies will perform best with. I'd like to build a 2110cc engine....will these carbs be good enough? Thanks.

I was told by my local VW shop that they wouldn't really work on anything bigger than a 1776 cc engine. But my memory could be wrong.:)

NO!!! Use ICT 34mm carbs on small stuff like 1600-1641 t1 engines. I ditched my old dellorto 34mm FRDs and bought some 36mm drla's for $160 from the alfa dude on ebay. My whole carb kit cost me about $ 250 complete. Go for dual 2 barrels even if you have to use your kids tuition. Theyre worth it

1776 is as big as you can stretch a pair of ICT's I know of a couple of folks that run them on 1776's.

Yeah, but theyre not gonna give the greatest flow at 5000 rpm, you know? Theyre only good for daily drivers that arent maxed out on mods like most of our engines.
