Where would the oil container be located in a 1302
if I want to use a dry sump system? Also to prevent oil from draining back to the engine, how high should the oil outlet be from the oil container relative to the dry sump pump inlet? What size of oil tubes that would run under the pan chassis to the front grill?

You can mount the oil tank inside of your Firewall. If you do this you would need a shut off valve. This could be a mechanical one....in this case you have to remember to turn it on when you start the car and turn it off if you leave the car. You could wire a light to indicate if it is open or not.
Or you could use an electrical valve that turns on automatically when you turn on the ignition. I was told that those valves are pretty reliable.

You could also mount the tank on the floor pan so that the outlet of the tank is lower. The you would need no shut off valve.

Hope that helps,

Alex
