Well I tried to send this as a PM but Jake didn't have any more room to accept another message so here it is in the public forum:

"Jake,

I'm new to the forum and was in the process of pricing out a GL bug (so I don't get 1/2 way through and run out money). I was looking at possible engines and realized that no matter how I slice it I'm gonna have to drop a couple grand on a decent engine. I was wondering what a typical set up for one of your engines would be (specs), how much power it puts out, and how much it will set me back. You dont have to give away any of your secrets but an good overview of the engine specs would be appreciated. What is included with your engines (are they turnkey or long block?). Also could you suggest a 5-speed tranny that matches up well with your set up."

You can send me a PM in response to keep the boards clean. Thanks!!

I found most of the answers to my questions on your website (which i discovered after I made this post) but I still had a few. What is an average price for one of your engines and what kind of tranny do you recommend with your motors? Thanks for the help!!

You would probably be best posting this question Here:

then going to the Aircooled Technology link.

I purposely have my inbox full here... as well as the STF.

I get 150 emails a day and Kathy screens them for me, the PMs are truly a pain for me..
