yesterday I bought these carbs (paid about 30$/pair) they are in exelent condition.. question is... will they fit beetle? what do you think?

Oh yes, they sure will, you scored there with them didnt ya, just make sure you get yourself a rebuilt kit to do the job properly.

Yeah, they'll fit. clean em , rebuild em and buy a linkage/intake kit without carbs from Ebay. We have bought them on Ebay for around $100. I got my dells from italy. they used to cruise around on an Alfa also. The best thing is when you get all the parts together and bolt the kit on, when you didn't even know if they'd work in the first place!
