Who makes or sells some of the nicer looking better made kits? Who sells the least expensive kits? How many different people sell them?

The only TI 911 kit I use is from Sharpebuilt....It uses the real Porsche fan and alternator.
I have one on my 2332.

How do you like it? Do you have more space in the engine bay? Does it cool better?
Does sharpebuilt have a web site?

actually, I'm not really fond of the 911 units in general on TI engines, and concerning the cost and amount of work involved it is not worth it. Most engines don't need it and some suffer from its addition.

The main problem is indeed not a 911 alt, it's the form from the alt stand and the form of the shroud, to get the best air flow to both sides. My fathers shop produces a very nice and easy conversion, that you can also combine with your existing porsche ring & fan, you only have to machine the porsche ring to a diameter of 254mm. We sell complete kits with a "original" Porsche fan and a rabbit style 70amp alt. Ask for more!
