I have seen 17" BRM wheels in pictures but, I can't find them. All I can find are the 15" rims. Were these original BRM's or are they custom replicas?

They are replicas. I think they are for NBs 100x4 bolt pattern, but i'm not sure. BRM's are more of a "Cal Look" thing anyway. Just my opinion though.

You aren't kidding! @ about $1,300 a set, might as well be getting Porsche cup rims.

Porsche wheels are better anyway. Factory wheels are usally stronger than aftermarket wheels. They have years safety and durability testing behind them. If you look around you can find Porsche wheels at good prices. I got my '97 996 wheels for under $500 with tires with some wear of course, but they are good during mock up phases of construction ;) . Then i will buy new rubber skins.
