Hi
I must have lead a sheltered life, I've never heard a Porsche called that before, I guess I should have looked at which forum its in.
Just goes to show you, we all speak English, just different versions.

It's a faily common term in the UK, it rhymes with Porsche if you say it correctly. Speedster replicas are often referred to as 'plastic pigs' which takes it a bit further!

Notch11,
Do you have the engine yet ? Do you have the length dimension of the 2.2 from engine bell housng (where it mates to the gearbox) to the front pulley ?
I am also toying with the idea of a flat 6 in my beetle. I'm assuming you need to move the gearbox forward in the chassis to make the room you need.
Thanks
Sandeep
