How should I mount Seats?????
 

I'm looking at some seats? Should I use the stock base and weld on some brackets..

Any body got any links on seats????

What seats are you using? I just got done (almost) with both my seat mounting brackets/frames to mouth Porsche 911 seats in my 74 super. it all depends on what seats you are using...?

you can use stock vw seats if you have the late beetle seat tracks with the hump in the middle. The adjustments needed are minimal. The early 80s scirocco and golf GTI sport seats are a good fit( thats what we have mounted).

I used leather Recaro late scirocco seats. I cut my origional frames down, and using some bar stock, welded them onto the old seat's tracks. Now they slide in/out and pivot all over. They're
extremely comfortable, and they don't make my arse fall asleep
on long drives. $50 for two at a junkyard.
