944 Turbo Brakes for Busses!
 

Hey guys,

How's 944Turbo brakes sound on your Bus? 298mmx28mm rotors with the Brembo 4-pots, and what's that? "It's bolt-on"!

Bolt on Turbo brakes are now available for VdubCustoms. Fits all buses from 63.5-70. The later buses have to use the 68-70 drum spindles.

sweet. got any plans for a setup for a Vanagon (not that i really need to be going there now, but planning for the future)

I could do the 944T setup on the Vanagon spindle, but since the vanagon spindle is a disk spindle, I will need to machine it a little. The conveniece of a drum spindle is that you have some pick-up points to fasten a caliper bracket.
