Setting The Timming(1835cc CompUfire(DIS-IX)
Hey , GLookerz
This Is my first time doing this so I just want to make sure im fallowing all the steps.. I have a sears Timing light.. I need to hook Ground( Neg) to - (Bolt/Body Ground) Power (B+) to Alt Power 12v Clip(Light indacaor) to - Stark Plug #1 Now how do i Advance The spark? by turning the distributar? here is a Link Also video of it running & A pik of my motor Thanks Troy >>My Project<< >>1835cc The Video<<

had this same ignition on my engine, but pulled it in favor of a prorammable electronic unit.
it is adjusted the same as you would for a regular 009. which means turning the distributor unill its set where you want. the only advantage this ahs over the 009, is that you get a hotter spark. timing is the same.

Iv got it running at 0-Degz
Its ok but i got a pop comming from the right side air filter? I can see a small flash too.. I think im running a lil lean but i have'nt got to that part yet.. Any quik thouts on this??
