Hi guys,

Updated from:

http://www.germanlook.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=8173

Not working today, so i tore down the 2332, that was pulled a couple weeks back, which blew in Dec. Here's what i found,

The exhaust valve had no face, and the tip was ripped off at the keeper:

Head split in 2. Thinking the barrel split, and the piston went sideways smashing into it:

The other side (1&2) looked good:

So, the stocker 1600dp is going back in for the summer. Need to finish the other 2332 that is sitting on the stand. ;D

I'll get the rods/crank looked at and serviced next week. Part it all out. Hopefully i can get some cash at the local swap meet next weekend (John's Bug Shop).

Anyone need some spares?

Wow that's one huge lost, is the crank still good. Those inlet valves aren't unshrouded at all.

I'll start putting things aside soon. Most of my spares. Need some $$$ to finish other projects. Some of this stuff will make it out to the swap meet, other will hit the 'net as they come off the car. If you see anything you want let me know.

Off the top of my head:

Hi-torque starter
JSC 1.4 rockers
Autocraft 1.4 roller rockers
rocker shims
bugpack solid rocker shaft for stock arms
adjustable chromoly pushrods x6
lashcaps various thickness
copper head gasket sets (0.20, 0.40, 0.60)
Pauter ALU/Chromo 5.7 chevy journal rods
94mm Cima cylinders x7
IF the crank rods check out OK:
-84mm 4340 Bugpack chevy journal crank
-5.7 Bugpack H-beam race rods
12lbs flywheel
1700lbs Kep PP
4-puck unsprung disk
magnum straight cut gears
extra chromo 8mm headstuds
Jaycee pushrod tubes x6
Airkewld polished 911 fan/alternator, stand, linkage, carbon shroud (this is my "extra" setup)
Power Tuning Parts fiberglass 911 fanshroud for VW (the one that came off this motor)
complete drysump setup (pump, lines, cooler, tank, autocraft sump pickup)
Electromotive TEC2 with sensors
Superflo valve covers
3 Wiseco pistons 48x38 valve notches
K-800 valve springs with titanium retainers
2inch merged stepped header with O2 bung and 40 series flowmaster
3-bolt nosecose
new 96plate mesa cooler
21mm, 30mm oil pumps

I'm sure there is more. I'll have to look.

I'll bring them on Tues. I don't know how a 1.4 rocker will be on your cam, and how the motor will act afterwards. No clue.

Bryan, i'll bring the pumps.
