I know that adapters are really bad but are spacers the same? I would like to add width to my track and place a set of wider that currently fit (backside) rims onto my car and need to know where I can buy a 1 inch spacer if someone makes it? They are porsche pattern and would be on a vw drum?

Some 944's have a ~21mm spacer on the rear as standard. Have the longer studs from the same hub pressed into your drums?
