Chris.....
tubframe.....mid engine Hayabusa with 6sp sequential gear box (reverse might be a problem ;-) )....light weight parts for the bug....15 or 16" lightweight rims.... Sounds like an awesome plan for a track/motorcross/street car. You will spend a lot of money for a go fast Typ1 and even more for a go fast Type 4 enigne. You might want to contact Z- Cars in the UK to get some ideas....as they do a lot of motorcycle engine conversions. I think it is something that should be considered. Alex |

^^just buy thier tranny, mount engine in backseat area, & run radiator by decklid w/special ducting. Drag racers have gotten over 500hp out of these engines on thier bikes by using turbos.

i raced the z cars mini a few years ago at mini's v beetle's at york race way, left me for dead,
just imagine 500bhp with a squirt of nitrous for good measure , like said above they dont apear to be that torque'y though
