Frame is finished. Now for the aluminum floor and brakes and some other goodies.

metal?

what type, size, and wall thickness are you using? (in the cage & the front and rear braces?) And have you added up all the extra weight/ weight difference between stock and how it is now? It is a really cool idea, I just want to know what kind of planning and calculations you did before you started welding.

Alot of complex algorithms, fea analysis and alot of solid works. if it breaks i'll build it stronger.

So when can we get the specs on that custom front end? I would be very interested in taking the bug body out of the front suspension equasion!

Awesome project. Its something ive been dreaming of a long time. Im struggling to get accurate dimensions of a 1303 floorpan in order to model it in solidworks
If someone can provide them i would be grateful.
