Jason,
Are there any issues getting 225s on a 7 inch rim, for a short axle. Any rubbing on the fenders(stock) and or spring plates?? Any pics of what this combo looks like?

On a long axle I had 215/60/15s on the rear, a hair away from rubbing on the inside of stock fenders, but there was room on the inside between the tire and the spring plate. I didn't realize you were actually asking what size to put on straight up, I was thinking you had planned on room for the sizes you'd mentioned. I think with 195/50/15s on the front I rubbed on stock fenders and rubbed the rear inner fender where the footwell is. I don't remember what offset those wheels were. Currently I've got 205/50/17s on the front, 255/40/18s on the rear but nothing is stock anymore.
