I got the mail also! Itīs been discussed on his forums aswell.He will be offering subaru conversion kits in the future.The type 4 programm will be limited to various versions of his 2270.
According to Jake,one reason is the parts situation and cost to build the type 4.Also the subaru is another big market that he wants to compete in.I am anxious to see what he comes up with and what the cost will be! I am sticking with the type 4 though.But if my engine explodes into a million pieces,a suby might be an option.
