944 seats in a bus?

just picked up a copy of VW Scene (never was avaliable here before) and the had a split bus featured that had 911 seats in the front, (identical seats to the ones in my beetle)

I'd assume that if the 944 seats are similar in dimentions to the 911 seats it could be done fairly easily

I saw in another magasine article a couple years ago (wish I could find this one again) where thay had the rear seat from some manner of porsche, that looked like two 911 seats moulded together, in a split singlecab. looked really trick
