what size/kind of oil pump is right for me?
what size/kind of oil pump is right for me? which kind?
this is what i'm already running: 2332 drysumped cummings pump plumbed with 3/4 sees 8000rpm i think i damaged my oil pump (stock size?) when taking it out last time. i have a leak in between the pump and block ONLY when i turn it off. it pisses out a little then stops, with no pressure just pours like its draining. so im looking for a replacement ? im probably going to silicone it tonight for the time being. your thoughts? thanks, pete

What is the application of your car/engine? If budget permits, I would go for drysump. The only problem is where to put the oil tank if yours is a street car.

I know PTP in Germany has a few kinds. Otherwise, if memory serves, CB perf has a dry sump pump also

i have the dry sump pump.
the dry sump pump bolts and is squished onto the stock oil pump. its the stock oil pump i want to replace. the part that sinks into the case. the drysump pump itself is ok. i see 26, 29, 30mm pumps on the net. i know nothing about these pumps. this is what i'm inquiring about. or i can replace it with a stocker. i don't know. pete
