I know this really isnt the answer you want, but why not just get used to turning the wheel less than before. I have been turing the steering wheel a max of 1 rev each way for 4 years now, but still hate it.

rack and pinion

Hey Stuart ,

to be honest i dont know a way, but why you want to limit the steering of your 1303? perhaps you mean to reduce the number of turns of your steering wheel?

By the way did you solve your wiper problem?

Hi,
I believe it was to prevent the front tires to rub against the inner wheel wells because of his 7x17 front Cup-rims and 205-tires...

ppp,
I understand what the collar is now, thanks, but still not where to attach it exactly (which shaft). Do you have this done for your own car as well

Thanks also,

Walter

Hi

I have been thinking about this problem for a while as I have the same problem with my bug, I havnt had a good look or taken any measurments but what I think could be done is bolt a bracket to the rack where the tie rods bolt on, then weld some threaded section onto the bracket, you could have bolt going through the threads which would contact the body or inner fender. Im going to get under my car in a few days and see if my theory will work.

Thumbs up waiting on your results

I'm very curious what the result of your investigation will be. Greetings and hope to hear from you.
