Yeah, its darn tight and we had a few minutes of thinking it wouldnt go in... Ended up having to twist it this way and that but once we worked it out it was easy second time around.

Alternativly you could cut out the parcel tray below the rear window, leaving a couple of inches on each edge. Weld some reinforcing plate to the edges, drill some holes then weld some bolts to the underside. Then create a plate which fits over the top and bolts down...
That way you can have much better access to the gearbox/starter/coolers etc.

Its something I plan on doing oneday, just to make life easier when working on bits down there.
