Help I want use 17 on a 72 standard beetle using 924 brakes

Is it a standard beetle or a super. What type/brand of wheels were you planning on using? If you use 944 rear suspension you will have 5-130 bolt pattern and you can then use porsche wheels which have a better offset for your car. Its not that 924 parts are bad but that there is so much more info on the 944 suspension.
