I don't want to underestimate your skills of course, but I suggest you let an experienced engine builder have a look at your case since it turns out that almost 100% of all 30+ years old type 1 cases are better of with an align bore.

The full flow kit IS NOT a cover/filteradaptor in one... what a pile of crap those are. Its a real drill and tap the case type.
I am sending the case to Rimco to have it bored out, im sure i can have them look at the bearing saddles there.
