			Hello I´m from Spain, I need to know which suspension my car has; I have a model 1300 (but 1600 engine) year 1974, now I have a stock 1300 trans but I would buy any longer but I need to know which suspension have: rear swing axle or IRS.Please help me whith any information.Thanks P.D.: I know my english is bad   |

			in the USA 74's had IRS, but in Europe I believe they all had swing axles. the way you can check is to look under your car and take a look at your axles to see if you have a CV joint at the tranny and at the wheel. if you have 1 CV you have a swingaxle 2 CV's and you have an IRS I hope this helps

			Swing axle cars don't have CV joints. A 1300 Beetle in Spain will be swing axle. There is no doubt. |
