The calipers and rotors are on, the brake line on one side is hooked up. I am still waiting for my wheels....and the front pads which are on back order.
The only problem that I am having is that my emergency brake cable appears to be about an inch too long. I called CB Performance and they assure me that I have the correct cable at 72 1/8th inches long....I hope to figure this out this week. Anyone else run into this problem? |

Not really an answer but maybe an option if you are in a hurry to get it going and can't wait for different parts...
They didn't have a "bus" kit for me, I used a kit for a IRS bug and just replaced the cables in the kit with the longer bus ones. How this affects you is... my cables were a little too long also and I went to the hardware store and got some ends that are made for terminating cable (a crimp kinda thingy) then once I had the end on there where I needed and had the excess cut off, I took my mig welder and tacked the end of the cable a couple times which made a kind of ball so the crimp thingy couldn't be pushed/pulled off if it tried to slide... sounds hokey but works just fine.
