1990 porsche 944 turbo font brakes

i want to do a turbo front brake upgrade in my 69 bug. i am going to do the one in the tech article called "pre 87 944/944 turbo blah blah blah" anyways im going to do the one useing 944t calipers and cb dropped spindle and rotors from cs&p.
there are 1990 brakes for sale near me and i was wondering if the front calpiers on 1990's are the same as pre87's. also i was wondering if the rear control arms and such are the same. hope you guys can help me out.
Danny

you mentioned the front? what do you have on the back or what are you planning there? make sure you balance your selection so you have the right bias. you will find tons of info on this in the brakes forum.

anyway, i believe they are the same over those years. will have to pull a shop manual to see. i frankly don't even remember what year mine came from. jhegelsen on here did all of the machining for the conversion for me. it uses CB drops, 911 rotors, stock porsche bearings and 944T calipers. he can probably give you some details on what it takes to pull it off.

hmm... well i want to use 944t brakes all around so the plan is...
in front to have a cb dropped spindle; csp rotor; and 944t calipers (like in the tech article)
then in back i am under the impression that the whole 944t rear set up would bolt up with exception to the e-brake...e-brakes are over rated anyways

i have a chance to buy 87 front calipers and a whole rear 90 set up

all i know is that with 300 ponies drums arent going to cut it

hey zen can you tell me some more about your set up
