Another good point to be made is parasitic drag caused by driving the fan.

Takes less juice to spin a VW's radial fan than it does to spin a Porsche's axial fan. Plus, a radial fan moves a large volume of air, and an axial fan moves air at high velocity.

...that and the DTM shroud just looks so damn trick! :agree:
