congrats on getting sucked into the VW addiction. as No_H2O said, great car to build on. where to start and how much to do greatly depends on your budget, or lack of one. start with getting the body into shape. then brakes, suspension and wheels. then engine and tranny. again, depends on if you need to drive it soon etc.

give us an idea of what you have to spend ($2000, $8000, $20,000) and over what time period and we can probably be more specific. again as No_H2O said, checkout the VKG also. we have a few local members that are always willing to give a helping hand. |

Hey, thanks for the warm welcoming. 2g's are coming in soon. as far as im worried right now if like to get it runnning strong but, i have other car to drive so that not issue, i wanna get body done and paint?has some rust and front end damage?do you know a shop that will do bodywork and paint it proffesionally for 1500? or what should u say?i don't want anything classy. basicly base coat, clear coat. color im still deciding on silver, yellow or blue. see this is my dad's also. so i can't just decided he want red i can't stand red.
