i had talked to Joe about mirrors a long time ago and as i recall he said they were just too time consuming to get the weave right for the shape to keep the cost low enough.

Sure, but that won`t matter if they are painted...
I need new mirrors after the ones I had were stolen.

Zen, Did you find out about the possibility of making some CF Ghia parts?

Zen, I'm thinking about running their CF elliptical or rectangle model. Any issues mounting your? Do the require any backside bracing or support inside the door?
ps...RCW is less than 20 miles from me here in Indy. No shipping. :agree:

i have the rectangular. i did not use any backside support. mounted in stock location. angled stems gave me the height i needed since i sit almost on the floor. only issue was on one, the set screw that binds against the ball of the stem in the base stuck out some. the gasket material i use absorbed the slight protrusion though. good quality mirrors.

ZEN; do you have a picture of them fitted to the car?
Did they fit in to the sttandard holes in the door, or did you have to modify them? I think I would go for the GP mirror Spa Design (Carbon of course...) Baard
