panel, if your setup is ghetto, i know a bunch of people that want to live in that town.
![]() another option, since i had a similar issue with shocks that needed to be bug on the top (12mm) and 951 on the bottom (14mm) was to pull the bottom bushing and had Lanner at VDub Customs (GL.com sponsor) fab a custom one for the bottom as a replacement. worked like a charm and was cheap to boot, even with international shipping. |

Thanks Zen! I'm definately proud of it, especially 'cuz I did it
but like any true gearnut, I would have loved for it to be made of billet and unobtanium and crossdrilled and lasercut and ultrarace looking...but at least most of it is chromoly and grade 8 or higher on the bolts.Exactly my point about the shocks! Don't give up just because they don't have an exact factory bolt on. Figure out the important critieria (length, valving, spring rate) and then see what can be done to make them fit... with sooo many places available that will machine small parts nowdays, you could do something easier than you might think.
