So yesterdayevening I had some time, so I have worked on my cage.
The first piece of the cross in the cage is ready and is till thursday tacked in. So finally I had some time to get on with the cage again.
At first an brither pic of the cross in the cage (not totally ready yet). http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fo...2005230215.jpg And anbetter pic of the welding on the back wheelarces. http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fo...2005230528.jpg At first I had maked two other holes in the dashboardplate so that the tubes from the struts can go to the cage. Pic from the inside (driversside).  Pic from trunk (driverside) http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fo...2005230812.jpg Also we had bendend 2 tubes that will go in front of the doors from the a- to the b-pillar.  After that we welded brackets on the tube at the a-pillar. So that the tube from the strut can be mounted to the cage. There's also an bracket welded tot the long tube (from the strut tot the cage) so that the short tube can be mounted from the strut to the cage.

WAKE UP, WAKE UP:
It's time for another update. Last week I've begun starting to bend the last tubes for the cage. http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fo...2005001341.jpg And that gives this final result.  It need to be shortend on the right size and then also this one can be welded in. Yes, yes 2 updates at one tim
 .The second-last tubes are welded in last sunday. It are the two tubes that goes along the doors. Picture from above. It's good to see that the tubes clears the door all the way. Mwhaa Ben.
There's only an verry little update of the cage. The "fixingtubes" are widered (uitgedraaid in het nederlands) for the right diameter and are drilled so that the several pieces of the cage can be bolted together at the end. The next update will be over a couple of weeks I'm afraid because I'm now verry busy with the chassis (new fuellines 2*12mm and new brakelines). When I've fixed that I will paint the chassis and the cage at the same time. Wiebrand
