Exclamation fuchs, 944 arms, bigger brakes possible

Hello,

I'm building a 63' 1200 and I'm facing a dilemna-> I have in my garage a pair of late 944 alu arms, which widten form ~70mm the track on each side.
I also own two 944 steel arms, with their calipers.

I want to mount custom 15x10 fuchs wheels (widened) with a really small ET (somthing like ~5).
If I use the late alu ones, my car will need at least +10cm inner and outer widened Kerscher fenders. And I'm not even sure that it will be enough.
So here is my question: Wich arms would you use, if we assume that I WANT to use the fuchs, and be able, later, to mount bigger brakes (993 disks and callipers)(is it possible with 15'' Fuchs?).
I measured the rear track with the late alu and Fuchs and it's 1800mm wide, really much.

Thank you for your precious help

would love to see some pics of the Fuchs.

you will want to go with the steel arms. i am running late ali's with 8.5ET48 wheels and it fills out my 3" CCC fenders perfectly. with 10ET5 you are adding another 50+mm in track width. i don't know anyone making 5" fenders.

plus i believe you can get 944NA brakes under 15's. i am pretty sure 993, 951, etc won't fit in 15's. but hopefully someone else can confirm.

15X10 that is nuts! early single piston 944 calipers will work. The later turbo 4 piston only work with 16inch wheels to my best knowledge. 993 big red calipers will only work with 17inch wheels. Some mazda RX7's came with 4 piston calipers that fit under 15inch wheels. Question how did you widen your fuchs that much, re-weld or are they 3 piece? I have 15X8 fuchs in the rear and would like to give them some more backspacing and make them 15X9.

thank you for your opinions.
I'll mount non-alu, because I drove a 911sc with 15'' fuchs, which breaks rather good. (using good aftermarket brake-shoes and ventilated, drilled discs)
I'll post pictures of the fuchs as soon as I get my computer back.
I bought them as they are, but they were widened outer by a specialized workshop.

here are the pics of the 10'' fuchs.
They are ugly with this paint, but I have time to loose.

they are re-welded on a 8'' basis.
To have a better idea of the width, look at this picture:
