Marking my Spot.. a lil tomuch..
Hey guys
Guess who.. Ok I have a few leaks just want to see if its eazy fixin or not.. I got drips on my muffler from my Valve covers, Under my Alt Stand & My Dip stick.. Whats the best tequnik to fix this? a understand i cant get it to stop from everywere but this is a lil tomuch for me.. i've been told that a bolt on valve cover will always leak. i guess they can not expand with the head like a bail style valve cover. also, bolt on breather fittings to the valve cover leak as well. Berg sells valve covers with welded bungs or you can get weldable bungs from them. also, you can use some permatex gasket goop on the gasket for the alt stand. make sure the alt stand is perfectly flat as well, any uneven parts may cause a leak.
