No, the development of the cylinders is totally separated from the heads.
Its was also (amongst other reasons) an opportunity to see how our selected aluminium casting company would produce something with as close a finnage as possible since there are limitations with sand casting.
We (and the casting company) had our worries with the cylinder mold, but the very first result is already better than I (and we) expected and that is also very good news for when the final mold for the Apfelbeck head is finished and is the reason we were very exited about the cylinder result
