Are you doing the fabrication yourself or having a shop do it?

How much time do you have into it at the point of your pics?

Are the bars that tie the rear-most subframe to the main hoop removeable to allow removing the engine?

Any idea what the balance of the chassis will be with that sexy lump out back?

that is going to be pretty sick. great powerplant. please do keep us updated. would love to see a GL.com feature article on it.

I have a friend that helpme in the fabrication, becose he do many chasis for race.

The proyect start 06/april/05. Proyecto

Yes the bars are removeable.

We calculate 45 front/55 rear .

Some pictures (before I Start with my new proyect Bug .:R42)

The pics of the build maybe for the next week becose this week I can work on the car, and don't have any news.

Rear brakes came in yesterday. Fronts came today. I'll open up the fronts tonight and make sure it's all there and get some more pics. PM me as to what you want me to do with these beauties!

does wilwood make a breat kit for beetles?

also. does anyone know if there is a good 4 wheel bolt on system?

or if the tarox rears are out yet?

I never seen a bolt on kit from wilwood, but you can check this:

CSP-Shop

In the section wheels/brakes they have a 4 piston vented disc for the bug

OK, here's the front caliper. This thing is huge. It is over 10" tall. The rotors are 14". CRAZY! I'm still working on shipping, sorry Hugo. There is a bunch of paperwork to do and I hate paperwork, but I'll get there.

The disc doesn't look like it has a lot of braking area/surface. Almost looks like a motorcyle disc.
