944 eagle spring plates?
Will the eagle or simalar heim joint spring plates bolt up to the late aluminum 944 arms?

The uni-ball type set-ups are available for both steel and alloy bolt patterns.
I looked at the eagle type setup, but went with MBT due to the much more substancial and high quality construction, with the joint being supported on both sides. They are much more expensive, but you get what you pay for and this is quite a critical area for safety.

I have both on two cars and would say good luck at getting the Eagles to work without too many hours on the phone, even when faxing a drawing so stick with MBT. I will probably replace my Eagle set with MBT before I am done.
Thanks, Randy

993/996 setup
Since this thread i've decided to go with the 993 multi-link rear suspension and 996 front suspension. Both are carried by a sub-frame so i'm hopeing all i have to do is make some mounts and try to line it up and aline the front with the rear. I realize it's not going to be that easy at all but for the strut angle, I'm just going to get a strut bar that ties the two together to reduce flex and that will help get the main angle worries out of the way. I'm gonna use the power steering rack and pinion because my front tires are 255's (gotta make use of the 6 pot brakes!).
When i'm done it'll handle like a 997, brake like a F1 car and accelerate like a drag car. Goals: 160 mph 10's 1.0 lateral G's Street/Track Wish me luck! 550 hp, 6 speed G50, 993/996 suspension=Wanna Race?
