As far as I'd be concerned, I'd get the Topline camber kit, and then get the H&R Triple C bolt if needed more.

got the camber plus from Topline..
I am looking at the h and r bolts but based on other posts I understood slotting still necessary.. Thoughts.. Alex

I would just take them to a welder and have him remove the 944 "collar" and weld it onto the MaXX strut.
However, with the use of Topline's camber plus kit and the H&R CCC bolt (see note below) you should be able to get enough negative camber. Note: Volkswagen itself makes a bolt simular to the H&R, part number N903334.01 this bolt was used for crashed cars that needed extra adjustment in their damaged carriage. This bolt will give +/- 1/2 degree of adjustment (+/- 1 degree if used on top and bottom of one strut). |

Superman,
Thanks for the reply.. I remember you mentioning the crash bolts in a similiar thread.. This seems the easiest way.. being the use the H&R or VW bolts... Have +/- 1 degree, will this be enough when coupled with Topline Camber Plus bolts be enough? I will swing by the VW dealership hopefully they have the bolts.. I will let everyone know.. Alex

It should be just enough; if not, then the upper hole will have to be slotted (last resort method).

Superman,
Saw this post over at Superbeetlesonly.. "That's cool, the post I listed is word for word (and part number) out of the official Volkswagen workshop manual for the A2 Golf/Jetta; page 10 of section 11. Let me know what you find out, the number may have been changed or he didn't know it. BTW, I ordered mine a few years ago (with that part number) from a VW dealer." I had the same result.. but the one thing that I can comment on is that he was looking at the 1303 parts.. The number he gave me was the OEM camber bolt number and nut.. (he was kind enough to actually do a print out.. If i can get this scanned might be helpful to all) Part number N 010 340 4 Name Screw, hex. hd. F 134 2000 001>> ??? Remarks M8X40 The nut Part Number N 011 008 8 Name: Hex Nut F 134 2000 001>> ??? unsure what this is.. maybe chasis number for 1303? Remarks M8 Hope that helps.. and I will go back tomorrow and as for the A2 part. Which is what may be confusing those guys.. Alex
