Great looking car!
It looks like your front track is a fair bit wider than the rear. Is that true?
That's probably a really good idea. I've just put together a DVD of some hillclimbs they do here in Australia. The vws have probably won the under 2 litre category for the past 15 years. Nothing else seems to be able to match the combination of great rear wheel traction, light weight, good power and madness behind the wheel. We have an engine buider called Stan Pobjoy who is largely responsible for those hillclimb successes. How long are your hillclimbs? I admire the hillclimbers because they drive so hard and there are so many things to hit. It's not as safe as the race track. Regards |

front is narrower than the rear just looks that way in the pic. are longest hill climb is just over a mile so not that long but also means no time for error. thanks for all the support and hears to 2006 being even better. cheers rob

I had no idea that some hill climbs were such a short distance. I belong to a local Slot Car Club (Scalextrix for you across the pond) and we have a hill climb and after learning of the distance involved I know it is true to scale. Here in the states all I have for reference is Pikes Peak! Congrats on your success and have a great 2006! Oh yeah, Do you race up and back down for a combined time?
