Hey Scott, The ET40 if I am not mistaken is the amount of offset (in mm) from the center of the wheel to the bolt flange (edited). My guess is that your narowed beam may be too narrow or you will have to use a spacer to get the wheel back out.

Just find out what offset works for the P car wheels and then you can compare. I suspect ET40 would be fine if you don't go too wide on the tires.
Read through the wheels and tires threads and you should find the correct ET answer. Jason
