I haven't seen one an a 911 shroud. Not that it can't be done. I know you can with a DTM.

Definately yes, can be done. No kits are available. You would have to make all the brackets or stands to support the compressor.

what panel side. anything can be done with enough time. money and/or skills. don't let the lack of a kit stop you. if that is a serious issue though and a/c is a must, you need to look into the DTM and lose the 911 shroud (and get better cooling as a result).

It can be done, but not easily. I started work on designing the mounts but as time moved on, I moved on to a STI motor for my bug and put the T4 in my Manx. I was going to use a rotary compressor and it was not a fit issue, but a mount issue. If you need help, let me know and I will try to brainstorm again on this end. I have the FAT shroud on my T4.

Thanks,

Randy

something that i heared last week and didnt know... The MMC Smart car uses an electrical compressor for its ac system due to the very small engine...
Im going to try and find more info on that issue for my 1303GL (luxury cruiser...someday)
