I'm hopefully getting some of those for my bug too! Also, fingers crossed I will be getting some 'Awesome Interiors' racing seats too circa 1995!!! A mate has a bug that has both fitted, and he doesn't like the german look so arranged a deal to swap some original stuff for the fancy stuff!!

turbonutta,

the demon tweeks site says they come in black, is that a paintable black? (like what factory jap plastic bumpers come in? - just buff, prime if you want, and sh00t preferred color?)

I think they are a rough (bobbled) finish, as standard black bumpers on modern(ish) cars.

I think that with a bit of time and some sandpaper, they could be smoothed off for painting

Good glad you are happy with them ...make sure you locktite the bolt that stops the mirror moving up and down, As my car has suicide doors i have put the switch for the door in the mirror. Also they are easy to paint as mine have been painted, i used filler primer then sanded them then on with the top coat and laquer
You could also think about adding some extra indicators on the mirrors

'Nutta,

Do you mind shooting a pic of this switch in the mirror you installed? Also some details on how it was done? I myself have got a GermanLook project in my back garden, and suicide doors was on the list even before I picked the car up!! I think a GL with s.doors is a bit of a twist and will ROCK!

*edit*
Also, 'Popper doors' was on my list too. Hopefully the Audi at my work that is going to be scrapped have central locking... I might be able to do something with that too...
