Go with the Wilson Street Works one, they have one for the VW. Easy to use too.

Sorry to correct you 70Ghia, but its Watson's Streetworks. I used thier Vw system on my Father-in-law's '79 SB vert resto. To clean up under the dash i put the fuse box under the rear seat

Hi
Im sticking with stock wiring on my 1303, does the wiring wear out and the VW wire colour system is very logical. Im planning to move the fuse box under front bonnet and Im going to use an 18 fuse box from a local Holden Camira, they are some sort of Vauxhal or Opel OS. Steve

i installed a watson kit on a friend's 65 standard. the car was on the ms gulf coast, and the harness rode out katrina in a box. the acc. ignition switch was damaged by salt water and the fuse block had a lot of built up silt, lots of fun to clean out
