although i dont know him as a mate, ive talked to him on the phone and he seems to be the most easy going bloke you could possibly meet who is forever helpful

if you really had a problem with the parts he supplied i'm sure he would sort it out

Im a new member have checked the forum out a lfew times and found it very helpful with mainly cool people I allso found it fair, being across the other side of the world I dont think there is much the young bloke in our club can do,he said Lee was a cool dude and I hope he does sort this out. I dont think JS was expecting Remmele quality parts and he said he spent alot of time talking to Lee in reguard to construction and quality and cant understand what happened as the parts he recieved were nowhere near the quality he expected. What I saw Im sure you guys wouldnt be happy with or dream of putting on your pride and joy,a few air bubbles and scratches are expected and ofcourse fitment can be a bit tricky but this is a joke.there are hundreads of air bubbles some had been covered with blck marker pen, in a pretty bad attempt to cover them up,the rear bumper had pulls in the carbon matt, which could almost be tollerable but there on the top edge,it looks realy messy and rushed. The parts are carbon look and that was understood this stuff was sloppy and expesive and this kid is very dissapointed and is still waiting for some other parts but I hope he makes a complaint to LA as its bad buisness.I posted this as I felt sorry for this kid and felt I should give anyone about to buy carbon stuff from LA a warning to make sure they get a garantee, check out some other stuff they have done and be careful.Maybe this is a one off misstake by these guys I dont know em all I know is this kid paid good money for bad stuff hes a good hard working kid at the mercy of someone on the other side of the planet Im sure he did the right thing by LA hope they do the right thing by him

If you can get ahold of Lee he may have some kind of return policy for defective parts. Who knows there could've been some kind of mixup with a part that was supposed to be scrapped and the part to be shipped. The good part could've been thrown away This kind of thing happens alot when smaller companies start shipping more than they can handle, things get misplaced, parts get sent to wrong addresses, & sometimes parts don't get shipped at all. I have seen alot of cars w/ LA parts on them & usually they look good but, I bet Lee has been through this kind of problem before. I hope your friend can get this straightned out. I know what kind of dissapointment this must be.

right just noticed this post as ive been in hospital for an op and not been to work or any forums lately.
firstly jon contacted me about the stuff i sent him and said it was o.k ???? so i dont understand this????.
secondly get with the fucing picture you lot this is genuine carbon fibre made by hand using wet lay up, the grp is put on the back so we can roll the carbon out and most of the air, if we didnt use the grp the weave would be all over the place, if you want pre preg autoclave produced parts then expect to pay 20 times the price i charge for my parts full stop.
these posts slagging my company off on the net really pisss me off, why has jon the customer not contacted me and complained to me about his parts??? ill say this , carbon fibre has gone through the roof in price , airbus have bought the majority of world wide stock and iam now paying £35 a square metre instead of the £20 a sq metre i was when i listed my prices on my website.
i owe jon 2 side vents and 1 pair of headlight rims, id rather give him his money back and i will be contacting him to transfer the funds back to his account.
as for the marker pen sentance, well iam gobsmacked about that lie and you can kiss my arse who ever you are in saying that. in future now any body in the u.k wanting my parts (c/f) come to the shop and check the quilaty for yourselves and iam not shipping any more parts overseas its not worth the hassle, all the best thanks to geniune customers for your support, looking forward to realeasing our new carbon bug and new circuit racer this year . I have received an order from Lee of LA Performance consisting of carbon fiber bumpers and running boards.I have no complaints reguarding thease products or the service I recieved fro Lee Arnold,on the contrary I have got nothing but good things to say about Lee and his work. The opinions of nameless enteties expressed in this forum apparently on my behalf are not endorsed by me or motivated by me.I am stunned at the opinions expressed with out my knowledge by a so called friend. My friends know I am more than capeable of representing myself in any disspute or confrontation and there for would not interfear on mybehalf with out my consent. If you are a friend I expect you to contact me to appologize .My email address is jdemeur@bigpond.net.au if anyone whants photos of the work in question I would be happy to supply them to proove this idiot has no idea what they are on about John from OZ
