Lee, what's the differance bettween the two? Is it a differance from Radial to axial? if not I'm probably way off.
The reason the calipers in question are axial mount is because they are the 993 REAR calipers. The 993 Front calipers are Radial mount. The 996's calipers are radial mount front and rear. On the back half of my left side caliper, it has the number 20.4672.00, and on the right caliper it has 20.4674.00. And I know these are 993 calipers. Then above there's a big 96. My right front say 20.4564.00. It too has the big '96, could that be a year?

Pretty sure mine has a big 94 on each caliper..
