I hope you're just kidding Rob, I've been following that project for a very long time and together with the conversion forum on aussieveedubbers been my greatest motivation to do my project and not give up wen things went wrong( which they have)

You might spend as much time and effort parting everything out as completing it. If you sell it whole, you'll lose quite a bundle. Just something to consider.

Finish strong! I agree, invire some friends over and have them rag on you for a few hours... Then tell them to F off! It WILL work.

Half the fun is people not really understanding what the heck you are doing

Me too... One of the first conversions that I found on the web that really lit the fire for me.

Allrighty then..... guess what I did this afternoon ???

Yup, worked on the bug ! I guess I have the 'bug' again (pun intended)

Hooked up most of the waterworks.. hooked up the fuel pump and fuel lines.
Now working on re-routing the return fuel line, then putting the tank back in...

Fan wiring and shroud is next !

:agree:

Rob.

Yeah, a good break is sometimes all that's needed. I wanted to come up and help get the fire going, but plans change.

Glad to hear you back after it.
