Check out what I picked up this weekend!


A $200 Vanagon....Get this it runs but needs a little work. Typical Vanagon engine stuff. :roll: Anyway..this van is solid...no, ROCK solid and for 200 bucks i had to buy it. Heck even if I have to replace the engine, I think it's worth it. I thought maybe I'd try out a Subby conversion with this one.
I spent the weekend and this evening cleaning it up.......That's all it really needed, except for brakes. I replaced those this evening and cleaned up the wheels.


Next I'm going to fix the few surface rust spots and add a little fresh paint here and there. Should make a cool daily driver.

If I find the motor to be trash, I have a good source for a used Suby engine....Heck I've seen one on the web that somebody grafted in a V8 Audi engine! Well I doubt that I could ever afford that, but something is going to happen, even if it's wrong!
