I just gave a 6 rib bus tranny away for FREE
 to a baja buggy dude  All I wanted out of the bus was the 2.0 core.Quote:

Panel, I might be able to find you a mock-up late bus tranny, if you can't find one. I got a "freebee" 091 last year just to get the bell housing off it to make a break-in stand with
. I know there are some more around here. I need to make one call to find out.

There's only a couple of guys local that even fool with them. Already checked, they are hoarding what complete trannies they've got.
 My only local source would be to buy a whole bus just for a junk tranny to do mockup. Keep me posted if you stumble on another cheapie. Thanks, Jeff-
