rich I will over the top ,the bottom if I have enough clearence to remove the transmission.

I thought I had a lot of fabrication in my project but when I look at what your doing my car isn't so tough anymore Keep the updates coming!

heres the bracing to bridge the torsion tubes together and the engineer has approved it.


this will be the position of the drive shafts under load.

Looking good Malcolm, but I think you could get a LOT more strength into the middle by closing off the hole infront of the trans...

Rich the hole in front of the trans is forthe shifter rod & coupling if you have a look at the earlier pics youwould see that plate goes right across the tunnel.
I,m going to modify the orignal pan and use this one as a test bed.

Another thought... I wonder if you could make the front trans mount structural? That would keep it removable, just have to think of a way of getting some rubber back in there..
