However, there are some 996 models that at least use the exact same rear calipers as the boxster S does. Probably the later 996 models. Rear boxster S and later 996 rotors are then 24mm thick; regular (non-S) boxster rear rotors are 20mm (and also have monoblocks) Front 996 rotors are 28mm. Hope this helps. Greets, Walter |

It's all very confusing ya know. It's a long search to find the right info on Porsche calipers. But they are definitley monobloc construction, and all the part numbers are boxster S, I believe also fitted to a 996. There may be a bit of hope on the horizon, as I might be getting my hands on some 996TT calipers which will fit the discs. So a set of 4 calipers may well be up for sale, or I might sell a pair and keep 2 for the rear.

Oh, I thought the latest monoblocks didn't have a connection brake fluid pipe between the two 'halves'..(?)
They are probably painted, also just to confuse us

Mine are monoblock, black, and is seems like a stock finish. PN is the same and also have the connection pipe.
Pelican Parts confirms applications I noted above Robert |
