Nice looking build! What's that transaxle you're using - Renault?
That lightweight Rover engine should make a good performing "Bug" when you're finished. I understand they can make up into the 300hp+ range with a little work (and lots of $$$). The low weight though is the real winner, IMO.

Will the Rorty chassis require wider fenders?

There was an old article in (I think) VW Greats waaaay back when, with a Bug body sitting down on a Mid-Engineering chassis - mid mounted small block Chevy and Corvair tranny, which was pretty standard fare for their chassis' back then. Supposedly made a real rocket ship, with super wide BBS wheels and low profile tires. Sure looked neat!

Finally after a long time I Start to work on my car again.

I weld the steering to the chassis this is a easy work but the hard work was to find the correct place of the steering to have a descent bump steer and Ackerman effect.
